Quality Policy
Apollo Accreditation
1. Why this policy exists
We prepare submissions that regulators and accreditation bodies rely on. If our work is sloppy, our client fails a review and their learners hold a qualification worth less than they were told. That is the risk this policy manages.
2. What we commit to
Every deliverable is written against the published criteria of the specific body it is going to, in the version of those criteria in force when we write it, and we record which version that was.
Every deliverable is reviewed by someone other than its author before it leaves us.
Where a body revises its criteria during an engagement, we tell the client within 10 working days and set out what changes.
3. How we build a programme
We work in a fixed sequence, and we do not skip steps to hit a date.
- Confirm the target body and the criteria version in force.
- Map the current programme against those criteria and record every gap.
- Build or rebuild curriculum, learning outcomes, assessment and evidence to close the gaps.
- Independent review by a second person before anything is submitted.
- Submit, track and answer queries through to a decision.
- Put ongoing quality assurance in place so the recognition holds at the next review.
4. Sources and currency
Framework levels, credit values and criteria are taken from the responsible authority directly, not from secondary summaries. Where we cannot verify a requirement from the source, we say so rather than assume.
Framework references we work to include the Malta Qualifications Framework, referenced to the European Qualifications Framework, the Regulated Qualifications Framework in England and Northern Ireland, the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales, and the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework.
5. Review and correction
If we get something wrong, we correct it at our cost and we tell the client what happened and why. We do not quietly reissue a document and hope nobody noticed.
Errors are logged and reviewed quarterly to see whether the same failure is recurring.
6. Independence
We do not accept work where our commercial interest would push us to advise a client to pursue a route that is wrong for their learners. Where we think a cheaper or simpler route is the right one, we say so, including where it earns us less.
7. Measuring this
We review this policy annually. The measures we look at are the proportion of submissions approved without material query, the number of corrections issued at our own cost, and the number of complaints upheld.
