First a free half-hour call to scope the job. Then we build the course or programme. Then we take it to the CPD body, MFHEA or a UK regulator's route. After that we keep the quality checks going so the approval does not lapse. You deal with one person throughout, and you can stop at any point.
Four stages, in order
Scope
A 30 minute call to map the outcome you want, the recognition route that fits, and a realistic timeline. Nothing is built until the destination is clear and agreed.
Build
We develop the course and the curriculum to the level and credit value the route needs, not to a topic list, using our own technology and a subject expert from your sector.
Recognise
We put the application together for the CPD body, MFHEA or the UK route that fits, starting with a gap analysis, and we answer the body's questions until it decides.
Sustain
We set up the quality checks that keep the standard where it was on approval day, so the recognition is still there at the next review.
What happens on the scoping call
It is free and it takes thirty minutes. We will ask what you are after, who the learners are and where, and what you have got already. Usually by the end of it we know which of the three services you need and which route applies.
Then we send a written scope. It names the body and the version of its criteria we are working to, plus the deliverables, the dates and the fee. We do not start until you have signed it off. If the body changes its criteria halfway, we tell you what that means for the job.
How the three services fit the stages
| Stage | Course Development | CPD Certification | Qualifications Accreditation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scope | Outcome, audience and format | Is CPD the right route, and which body | Which nation, framework and level |
| Build | The course itself | Fixes to meet the body's criteria | Programme, assessment and quality records |
| Recognise | Not needed for in-house training | Application to the CPD body | Submission to MFHEA or a UK route |
| Sustain | Updates when content dates | Yearly CPD quality review | Internal quality system and reviews |
How we keep the work honest
You get one person who owns the plan, so answers come from one place. Before any submission leaves us, a second person reads it. If we built your course, the person who reviews its quality was not involved in the build. And if a route will not get you where you want to go, you will hear that from us before you have spent anything on it.
Common questions
How long does an engagement take?
That depends on the route. A CPD certification is usually a matter of weeks. A regulated qualification, or MFHEA accreditation in Malta, runs to months. Our guide on how long accreditation takes gives the detail for each.
Can we stop after one stage?
Yes. Lots of clients just want a good course and stop there. Some come back a year on for certification or accreditation, and the course is already built for it.
Who will we deal with?
The same named person from start to finish. If the route or the subject needs a specialist, we bring one in and tell you first.
